The M&A team of DRV Legal, consisting of partner Kaje Staender and associate Martin Gřešák, provided legal advice to Fond českého bydlení in connection with the acquisition of an extensive portfolio of nearly 200 residential units. The newly acquired apartment buildings are primarily located in the catchment area of Dresden and Leipzig, specifically in the cities of Freiberg, Oschatz and Riesa, as well as in Bayreuth, Bavaria. Thanks to the involvement of Kaje Staender from our German desk, who is qualified as both a German and Czech lawyer, we were able to comprehensively cover all aspects of both Czech and German law in this transaction.
